Data & Retention Policy
A clear account of how your private legacy vault works today.
We believe the person recording should understand what is collected, where it is kept, and what choices are available.

Cloud vault today
Your vault data and audio are stored in the current cloud service.
Private access
The app requires sign-in and scopes vault access to its owner.
Offline copies
A secure archive or export is being evaluated and is not available today.
What we collect
Evervoice collects the account and contact information you provide, along with the information needed to run a private family vault. That can include your vault and capsule details, recipient and legacy-contact information, consent records, voice recordings, and any audio you upload.
This policy describes the founding-family MVP as it works today. It is a plain-language product policy, not legal advice.
Where it lives today
Vault, capsule, contact, and consent information is stored in the Convex cloud database. Voice recordings and uploaded audio are stored in private Convex file storage. Access to the app requires sign-in, and the current app checks that a person is accessing only the vault records that belong to their account.
Secure offline archive or export options are being evaluated. Evervoice does not provide offline copies or an offline archive today.
What Evervoice uses it for
We use this information to operate the vault and capsule service, provide the concierge support you request, protect the service, and improve how it works.
Evervoice does not sell voice recordings or message contents. Evervoice does not use voice recordings to train voice models without separate, explicit consent. There is no voice-cloning workflow in the current product.
What is not enabled yet
The current app stores private voice responses and editable message-capsule drafts. Voice cloning is not enabled. Automatic date-triggered delivery is not enabled, so capsules will not unlock or send automatically.
How information may be shared
Evervoice may share information with service providers needed to operate the service and when legally required. We do not disclose the contents of voice recordings or messages for advertising or tracking.
This does not mean Evervoice has no vendors: the current service relies on infrastructure providers to store and run the application.
Retention and your choices
Active account and vault information stays in the service while the account or vault remains active. The current app lets you delete individual recordings and message capsules where those controls appear.
For account-level deletion or a copy of your data, please send a concierge request from the Data & Privacy area after signing in, or email us. Our intended result is deletion from live systems, but we do not promise a fixed backup-purge timeframe. We may retain records needed for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons where required.
Security, contact, and changes
Evervoice currently uses authenticated, owner-scoped app access and private file storage. No service can promise perfect security, and Evervoice does not represent this MVP as HIPAA compliant, end-to-end encrypted, or breach-proof.
Questions or requests can be sent to team@evervoice-46e.madethis.app. We may update this policy as the service changes; material product changes will be reflected here with a new updated date.
Evervoice is built for a calm, honest beginning—not a promise beyond what the service can do today.
